There are many great golf courses in Vernon and the surrounding area, so we’re not going to name all of them here, but Predator Ridge Resort, The Rise, Vernon Golf & Country Club, and Spallumcheen Golf & Country Club, are excellent destinations for golf fans. We highly recommend making time for a round of golf during your stay with us in Vernon!
Waterslides
If you’re looking to do something fun with the kids while you’re in town, we recommend taking the short trip to Atlantis Waterslides. Atlantis is just 5km north of Vernon, and features 10 waterslides for plenty of fun in the sun. It also has a hot tub, arcade, mini-golf, and so much more. Atlantis Waterslides is guaranteed fun for the whole family.
Fishing
Ready for an interesting statistic, particularly if you enjoy fishing? Within about an hour’s drive of our city, there are more than 100 lakes!
The fishing in our area is fantastic! For your first fishing venture in the Vernon area, start with Okanagan Lake, Swan Lake, and Kalamalka Lake. Please be sure to check fishing regulations before heading out.
As you can see, there really is a lot of fun to be had in Vernon – we haven’t even touched on places like O’Keefe Ranch, Davison Orchards Country Village, or the historic downtown murals! We advise planning ahead to make sure you take in as much as you can, or ask our friendly staff for some local recommendations.
