Inaugural Multi-Cultural Festival to Take Place in Cranbrook

The first ever Cranbrook Multi-Cultural Festival is happening on Saturday, August 16th in Cranbrook’s Rotary Park from 11am to 3pm. The Cranbrook Multi-Cultural Society is behind the event and, along with sponsors, volunteers, performers, and vendors, has worked hard to plan an interesting and engaging festival that is sure to be very popular.

The goal of the Multi-Cultural Festival is to celebrate the rich diversity and different cultures that make up the communities of Cranbrook and the surrounding areas. Just like the rest of Canada, Cranbrook is proud of its multicultural heritage and the event is a great addition to the annual social calendar.

The Cranbrook Multi-Cultural Festival will feature music, exotic foods, visual art, athletics, cultural exhibits, and a traditional fashion show. This family-friendly event will also feature a craft tent for children, where youngsters can get involved with different cultural crafts such as origami and dream catchers, among other things!

The Inaugural Multi-Cultural Festival is a great way to celebrate our rich diversity and experience cultures from all over the world! It promises to be a fantastic, fun-filled afternoon journey for people of all ages, and is sure to become a Cranbrook tradition.
